Sweating it Out.

Has the tale-end of hurricane Burtha and the awful weather of the last couple of days got you thinking that summer is over, and that it might be time to pull on something a little warmer?

As much as I love my summer wardrobe I must admit that I get a little bit excited about pulling on a jumper, and just as well really as the statement sweater is most definitely an autumn/winter must-have.

The humble sweater has been given a new lease of life over the past couple of seasons, and AW14 is no different. Looking at the catwalks for inspiration you’ll find an array of colours, designs and shapes. From bold fast food type logos, to camo sequins and eye popping textures, if it’s one thing the sweater is not this season it’s subtle!

The great thing about a statement jumper is how quickly and easily one piece can change up a casual outfit. Team with jeans and a pair of sliders for a cool day look, then before heading out a quick shoe swap, adding a pair of heels, I’d go for a metallic (also big for the autumn season), and you’re ready to rock, looking cool but also comfortable.

Here’s a few of my favourites.
